v3.0.0
Open Beta
Play and organise
- 128 pads across eight banks, playable with the mouse, computer keyboard or MIDI.
- Six factory kits with 96 sounds: Modern Trap, Boom Bap, Lo-Fi, House, Techno and Drum & Bass. Start with a kit or an empty workspace.
- Rename and colour pads, choose icons, move/copy by dragging, duplicate, swap, clear and edit multiple selected pads together.
- One-shot, Hold and Mono playback; per-pad voice limits, choke groups, stereo balance and attack/decay/sustain/release envelopes.
- Play and Edit views, Pad Focus, a master output meter and volume control, and optional Warm soft clipping on the master output.
- Repeat controls, bank switching and Stop All Sounds. Playback and selection feedback remain visible while editing.
Sample recordings
- Load and preview a recording, then capture cues with pads, keys or MIDI.
- Move waveform markers, zoom, seek and audition regions before assigning them.
- Auto Detect Cues with adjustable sensitivity and minimum spacing, editable preview markers and the option to exclude unwanted cues.
- Assign reviewed cues across all banks, keep each pad's edits independent, and undo a complete assignment in one step.
- Source/target tempo, independent pitch and time changes, and standalone MIDI clock following. Source recordings have no fixed duration limit within the documented file and memory limits. Live input recording is not included.
Edit and shape sound
- Trim, fades, gain, reverse and normalization, plus reviewed Match Kit gains.
- Independent pitch from −24 to +24 semitones with ±99-cent fine tuning; Time from 50% to 200%, with editable source and target BPM.
- Per-sound reverb, delay, echo with Tone, low-pass filtering and Drive; a Warm option softens Drive.
- Original/Edited audition, waveform comparison, exact numeric entry, fine adjustment and reset controls. Source files stay unchanged.
- Replace sounds with reviewed edit handling, or bounce edits into a new WAV.
- Up to 100 Undo/Redo steps, including reviewed multi-pad operations.
Browse and control
- Folder browser with filename search, optional subfolder/all-folder search, Favorites, Recent sounds and repair of moved or offline folders.
- Automatic or manual preview, waveform seeking, drag-and-drop and multi-file import with a review before replacing occupied pads.
- MIDI Learn, saved controller profiles, sequential pad assignment, conflict handling and mappings for banks, performance and editing actions.
- Keyboard shortcuts, contextual help and optional hover hints.
- Standalone audio driver/device, output channels, sample rate and buffer controls. Saved preferences survive temporary device loss; explicit restore returns to the preferred output. Plug-in audio is controlled by the DAW.
Save, move and export
- Save/open kits and recover missing or moved recordings by verified identity.
- Collect a project with its source files and required decoded audio, preserving its sound when moved between platforms.
- VST3 host-state recall, saved edits and MIDI assignments.
- Export edited WAVs from a pad, bank, selection or complete kit; export chop sequences as MIDI in their original order.
- WAV, AIFF, FLAC, MP3 and Ogg Vorbis import; macOS additionally supports its native AAC/ALAC, CAF and AIFF-C formats. Inputs are mono/stereo at 8–192 kHz, within the documented file, decoded-audio and shared-memory limits.
Local stem separation and distribution
- On Apple silicon with macOS 12 or later, separate vocals, drums, bass and other instruments locally. Download the model once, then process offline.
- Audition/mute parts, apply a mix to cues, return to the original, cancel work and reuse verified completed stems. Audio never needs to leave the computer.
- One signed, notarized universal macOS installer with standalone and VST3 component selection. Both use the same version and support background updates, manual checks and update preferences.
