The Mac download is signed and notarized.
All components use the same Hitloom version and installer. You can run the installer again to add another component. Look for Hitloom Private in your DAW’s plug-in list. The VST3 installs in ~/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3. The AU installs in ~/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components.
Keeping Hitloom up to date.
Updates download in the background and take effect after Hitloom and any hosts using it have closed. Update settings let you check manually or turn automatic updates off. After some AU plug-in scans or host sessions, an update waits until you restart your Mac.
Open Hitloom Update Settings in your home Applications folder to check for updates or change the automatic-update setting. Your projects and samples stay in place.
